As a specialty retailer, our staffing needs are always changing. Throughout the year, we average almost 120 associates in a variety of positions requiring diverse skills. That's more than double the supermarket industry average for our store's size. During November and December our holiday season is particularly busy and staffing peaks with as many as 200 associates.

 
Throughout the store our associates bring a wide range of expertise to the team. Each week we create a considerable amount of foods from scratch and operate a popular (and busy!) casual café, deli and bakery. Customer service positions are throughout the store in both foods and non-foods departments.

It is our choice to be everything that the conventional grocery store is not…from the products we sell to the service we provide to our customers. Customer-obsessed service separates us from every other retailer in the region. The culture of our store is all about the customer’s experience, and we expect our associates to share that obsession equally regardless of their actual job. Associates make many customer focused decisions throughout their workday. It’s a culture where mistakes are allowed as long as the customer wins.
