The Deli At West Point Market

At West Point Market, the kitchen staff is dedicated to cooking each day, all day for our Deli and Chef's Case as well as our Beside the Point Cafe. Cooking from scratch using recipes developed in collaboration with our Executive Chef means the possibilities are endless. Each day you will find a combination of long-time signature dishes next to new culinary creations. With a menu that changes monthly, the kitchen is always cooking up something new.

 

DELI SALADS

From award winning potato salad to more trendy items like mediterranean quinoa salad or tabbouleh, over 15 choices of deli salads are stocked each day. Like the deli entrees, deli salads are made from our own recipes using only the best ingredients and no artificial preservatives. Ask us for a sample of any salad; you are welcome to to taste and compare. A few customer favorites? Try the Judy's broccoli salad, Carol's pasta salad, or the tarragon chicken salad After that, you are on your own.   

 

 

DELI ENTREES AND SIDES

 

Comfort foods and culinary creations are found side-by-side each day in the deli. With daily choices of  more than 40 items, the changing menu of deli entrees and sides are sure to delight. Customer favorites include hand-made chicken and beef steak pot pies (yes, we make our own crust too), crispy Jonny Romano chicken strips, sweet Autumn Salmon,  French country meatloaf, handmade Maryland crab cakes, 3 kinds of quiche, 2 kinds of pasta nests, twice baked potatoes piled high with cheddar cheese, and about 30 other things as well. It's hard to decide.

 

Our Executive Chef and kitchen team are always creating something new, but it is all inspired by a simple philosophy of using only real ingredients that create flavor combinations you'll crave. It has to be tasty...we're sneaky that way.

 

DELI MEATS & CHEESES 

When you are sampling through the deli case, be sure and try 3 of our signature deli meats. We brine and cook our own brisket for corned beef, roast our own top-round (using only USDA graded upper choice young beef), a Porketta (seasoned skin-on pork belly rolled and tied around a pork loin), and oven baked turkey breast using our own recipe in our kitchens. The purpose is to bring back the lost art of on-site roasted deli meats. It's kind of a D.I.Y. deli approach to take passionate control of the flavor and quality of the deli meats we serve.

 

In addition, we have hard-to-find specialty imports including Alto Adige Speck (juniper flavored Italian ham), Prosciutto di Parma and San Danielle Prosciutto, Serrano ham from Spain, and Wisconsin's own Nueske's applewood smoked ham as well as Niman Ranch pastrami. As our standard line of deli meats for slicing, we carry Thuman's Best brand beef, ham and chicken products exclusively.
