Not all great blues come from overseas! Buttermilk Blue is an awesome, award-winning blue hailing from Monroe, Wisconsin, made from the milk of Jersey cows by Roth Kase, LTD. This milk is then inoculated with a secret blend of cultures. During homogenization, the cheese is pierced, salted and aged for 2 months. . Close to Maytag in flavor but a little milder in taste.
