Beemster is made of a unique soft milk from cows that graze on pastures located below sea level in Holland. The milk is lower in milkfat, so the cheese made from it has a softer, sweeter taste. Wonderful as a snack, Beemster can be cubed into salads and used in many other dishes; a delicious addition to any cheese tray.
